Rajiv was in collection with a dental bill for $468.48 and he was concerned that his impeccable credit rating would be tarnished. This bill was for a dental procedure that was performed five years earlier! Rajiv called his BenefitsVIP Advisor and with only one phone call he was able to receive resolution. The BenefitsVIP Advisor immediately contacted the collection agency and had a hold placed on the account. Next the Advisor called the insurance company to determine the status of the claim and when it was found that the claim was not on file the Advisor reached out to the provider’s office and had them rebill the carrier. Within ten business days of Rajiv calling his BenefitsVIP Advisor the claim was paid. The Advisor also provided a copy of the paid bill to the collection agency and the account was closed.
